Terms of Use – deConnecs

1. Overview and Your Agreement with Us
Welcome to deConnecs (the "Platform"), provided by DCS Connecs Sdn. Bhd. and its affiliates ("deConnecs", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of our Platform, related websites, applications, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). These Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use.

If you wish to delete your account, contact us at support@deconnecs.com. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, sell or exploit the Services without written consent;

Violations may result in removal of content, suspension, or termination of access.

All intellectual property rights in the Services belong to deConnecs or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt any part of the Services without prior written permission. Your use of the Services does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

A. deConnecs Content
All content provided by deConnecs—including software, images, text, audio, and video—is protected by intellectual property laws and may only be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not monetize, republish, or distribute this content without permission.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of content and disclaim liability for reliance on it. External links provided on the Platform are for informational purposes only and do not imply our endorsement.
B. User-Generated Content
You may upload content (text, photos, videos, etc.) to the Platform. You retain ownership, but grant deConnecs a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, share, modify, and display that content across any media. You also grant us the right to use your username and likeness for promotional purposes.
You're responsible for ensuring your content doesn't violate any laws or rights. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or which we deem harmful or inappropriate.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you agree that deConnecs may use them without obligation or compensation.
8. Your Responsibilities and Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify deConnecs against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, or any violation by others using your account.
9. No Warranties
Our Services are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the Services will be error-free, secure, or meet your expectations.
We may update, suspend, or remove parts of the Services at any time without notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, deConnecs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.
We are not responsible for damages resulting from your failure to follow installation or usage instructions, or to update your device or software.
11. Legal Terms
a. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes shall be resolved by arbitration through the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), in English, by a panel of three arbitrators seated in Malaysia.
b. Open Source
The Services may include open-source software, which is subject to separate license terms.
c. Entire Agreement
These Terms replace any previous agreements between you and deConnecs regarding the Services.
d. Linking
You may link to our homepage fairly and legally, without implying endorsement. We may revoke linking permission at any time.
e. Age Restrictions
The Services are for users aged 13 and above. Users under 18 must obtain parental consent or have a parent or guardian open the account on their behalf.
f. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive our right to do so later.
g. Security
We do not guarantee the Platform is free from viruses. You are responsible for your own device security.
h. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest will remain in effect.
